SRS fault code...only one digit 700 1990

1990 760. Recently had the SRS light come on. Checked for fault codes and get "5"...once. Grounding the test point >2 seconds consistently gives the same result; a single "5", followed by a steady light.

The chart shows three digit codes, like the engine diagnostics. Is there another chart for 1991 and earlier, or is this a bogus code? The same thing happened about 9 months ago and I cleaned all the connectors to crash sensor, column (bag) and sub-harnesses. The light has been off until recently. Both times had no problem clearing codes.

Any clues?
