Led Lights 700 1989

just so you know, LEDs are not like bulbs. bulbs have a 180 degree arc for light distribution, meaning it is equally as bright from all angles.

LEDs have a much narrower range resulting in a cone shape. LEDs also have varying brightnesses.

they also use much less voltage. anything over about 6V will almost undoubtedly have an integrated resistor in it thus causing it to generate more heat. it's better if you link up four 3V LEDs to a 12V circuit. however, that means if one LED goes out, they all go out. luckily, LEDs don't go out for a VERY long time.

make sure you understand what you're doing before you do this or else you'll end up with a dash that is darker than before.

keep us posted. :)
