I scheming to modify the wagon into a pre-runner type sport ute volvo. I'm thinking of adding poly coil spring spacers in rear, and either the coil spacers or a spacer between the strut upper mount plate and the body. Going for 1.5-2" lift. I saw a website that offers this setup for Jeep Libertys, which also have front struts and rear coils. Wondering what's the tallest tire that will fit (assuming 15" rims). Also thinking about custom skid plates, locker, maybe steeper gears. I replaced all of the bushings and shocks. Also, are there any steel wheels out there in junkyards that will interchange with the 4.25" pattern? Any ideas?
