83 GLw/ an attitude. 200 1983

'83 244GL....Car started to lose power after 30 min of driving, happened like that for about 2 weeks. Then it totally lost it. Idles fine, give it gas and it wants to sputter and spit, choke and stall.Removed catalytic converter, no improvement. With cat off, fuel pressure at idle is at 30psi...give it some gas, it goes as high as 40, then after about 3-5 seconds, drops to about 20, then goes back up, 3-5 seconds, goes back down. Any help? Thanks in advance.
