85 740 wagon with a 92 engine swapped in 700

hello all

looking to buy a volvo (either a 2xx or 7xx), and i just came across an interesting one... a 1985 740 with a 92 engine swapped in..5sp trans...ad says it runs excellent, etc etc, it sounds good in the ad (for whatever thats worth).

I'm familar with the engines in the 240s, but the 700 series volvos are "new" to me...would a 92 engine in an 85 740 be a huge improvement? the asking price is $750. Has anyone had any experience with a car swapped like this?

thanks in advance for any advice/replies...

Omar
