Rope Trick for Crank 200

I read in FAQ about the rope trick to use when loosening or tightening the crank bolt on the B230. The installation torque on this bolt on the B230's is 44 foot pounds, plus about 1/4 turn. On the B21, Bentley calls for 122 foot pounds of torque for the crank bolt. Will the rope trick work well on the B21, or is that too much torque to apply to the combustion chamber and engine in that way? Is the rope trick good for either engine?

Also, as I mentioned in previous post, is there a special tool made specifically to hold the B21 crank?
