Distorted new rear main seal question 200 1979

Hello friends, I hope you are having a good day...

I unwittingly used a slightly bumpy old rear main seal to gently hammer in a new seal in it's holder. The bumps from the old have transferred unto the new, resulting in very slight "waves" in the new seal's lip.

Can I get away with still using the new seal or should I absolutely get a new one? While hoping for a reply to my question, I will try to straighten out the bumpy new seal.

Many thanks in advance...
