keep my 240? 200

I have a '00 9-3 saab coming off lease.I also have a '92 240 sedan(auto)with 90k that my son used in college(n.c. and texas)..both cars have been well maintained.I was thinking of turning the saab in and running the 240 to save future car payments.my concerns on the saab are use in the snow(it is now in upstate ny) and reliability of a 11 yr old car.(btw,I have a very good and reasonable volvo mechanic).what do you think of that plan to keep the volvo?
