External Voltage Regulator? Voltage drop 200

I have a 1983 244T. I sent a post regarding voltage drop while the lights are on or when driving. It was suggested that this could be due to heat and an external voltage regulator would fix this problem.

Where can I find an external voltage regulator for this car? or are we talking about an IPD sold adjustable voltage regulator?

Thanks all,

Lawren
