940 intermittent stalling, non-start 900 1993

A week ago my 93 940 stalled while I was coming to a stop at a stoplight (rainy day). Started up again after about 10 minutes. Ran fine until 3 days later when it wouldn't start in the morning (dry but cold) - turned over fine, but wouldn't start. The next day it started and ran fine. Next day, no start. Had it towed, by the time it got to service station it started and ran fine. Next day, wouldn't start. They've checked fuel pressure and basic ignition system - all seems normal. Any ideas?
