Different half-driveshafts match: problems for sure ? 200

Hello dear ones,

In my endeavour to swap a M46 in place of my present M45, I am considering getting, from a recycler, only the frontmost shorter half-driveshaft needed for the M46. My present rearmost half-driveshaft would stay on. Getting a whole driveshaft would probably spare me some worrying but I am presently very broke.

Could I achieve a reasonably vibration-free driveshaft through such a match or is it a lost cause ?

I am aware that, at the very least, I might have to try different alignments of the half-driveshafts to one another.

Anyway, wether you have an answer for me or not, have an excellent day!
