I've a question for you... 700 1985

Hi,
In my car, I just pulled off the radio knobs(inner and outer). Then I used a crochet hook (you could probably make a hook out of wire) to pull the two metal tabs that you can just see by the sides of the deck through the openings exposed when the knobs were removed. While pulling on one tab, pull that side of the stereo out. By doing this from side to side, the stereo will eventually come loose.

This procedure is described in the Haynes manual(probably much more clearly then I did). I do have the diagram in the Haynes manual whis is pretty small and dense and also the one from alldata.com which is a bit better. I could probably scan them and e-mail them to you although I don't have much experience with my scanner yet. If you give me your e-mail address I will give it a try.
