Capped electrical socket above valve cover? 700 1988

socket is for dealership to set ignition timing via magnetic pickup on flywheel/ring gear and will tell the tech engine speed(RPM). the tool that hooks up to that socket is called a mono tester and will check points dwell-RPM-and inductive timming and has hand held timming lamp
