Caliper bolts-replace or not? 700 1992

I had one shear off after doing a brake job on my 83 240 - lots of noise, but I could still stop the car well enough to get home - everytime I stopped I had to get out and rotate the caliper back to where it wouldn't rub. I looked at the bolts and they did look a little worn so replaced them with ones from my parts car which looked brand new by comparison. I am constantly surprised by the quality of Volvo bolts, how they can look new after 20 years but I guess it's hard to judge the presence of microscopic cracks etc that may lead to problems later on.
