Adding IPD bars, end link question 700 1988

it's very likely that the swaybar end links will need replacement. The bushing used to be available as a service part from volvo...it is no longer serviced. The entire link must be bought....I bought mine a couple years ago and I think they were about $20 each...try fcpgroton.

I did NOT install the polyurethane swaybar link bushings...I used the stock volvo bushings on a new volvo end link....tightened them to 42mm stack height length and they seem to work quick enough, YMMV.

The heim joint linkage seems bulletproof...once you install them the links should last forever...you can adjust the swaybar response using volvo or ipd poly bushings and compressed stack height...longer is slower reaction but the poly bushings don't compress much so let your seat be your guide.
