Automatic shifter indication bulb 93 & 95' 940T 900

I need to replace the shifter indicator bulb on both the 93 and 95 940T. I removed the bulb from the 93' (what a PITA until I figured it out) and it looks to be a 1.2W w/o the integral socket. I called the dealer and he says it's a 2W. Which is right ? It probably doen't matter that much but I'm no electrical expert. Would this apply to the 95' also ? How about the other lights for the various switches on the dash - heard they were 3 or 5W. If anyone could shed some light on this (no pun intended) I would appreciate it. Thanks
