Help! my 740 overdrive is wacko 700

thanks Kendric. Well, the overdrive indicator light does not work. I guess the bulb is out. When I put in the new relay, it would not shift into overdrive. I would get on the highway and the rpms kept on going high, like 3500 at 55 mph. Too high and no shifting so i would just exit immediately. Then i would put in the old relay, and it would automatically shift into overdrive while accelearating on the highway. A few times a week it would either pop out of overdrive and rpms would go high. or it would never shift into overdrive and i would have to exit immediately. With my current relay, i do hear the clicking when I push the overdrive button, so i guess thats a good sign about the relay. Could it just be old wiring?
