Need fuel 700 1989

I had a similar problem, looked at the previous postings, tried several of them until one temporarily fixed my problem...

The suggestion that did the trick was to give the pump a sharp rap with a blunt object (a 22oz. hammer worked for me).

At least it bought me some time to shop for a good price on a new main pump so I'm not at the mercy of Checker Auto Parts.

Be sure to check your in tank pump first, review the FAQ's to make sure it's the pump, and good luck.
