Where to connect wire for Oil Pressure dummy light? 700

Hello,

I was investigating a problem with a non-functioning oil pressure dummy light. The light came on intermittently during driving, with no obvious relation to engine speed/temp/etc.. Then I noticed that the dummy light did not come on before the car was started, so I knew it must have been a loose connection.

I found the source of the problem - A single wire (insulated at parts) with a female connector on the end. When this is grounded, the dummy light comes on. Great, I found the source of the intermittent light, but where is this wire supposed to connect to? Any idea? None of the sensors in the block are missing any wires. I take it this wire is not supposed to be grounded but should somehow connect to the oil pressure sender? Does anyone know where this wire should be connected? Again, its a single black wire with a female connector on the end, and this is a 740T (no oil pressure gauge, just the dummy light)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

cheers,

-Justin Volvo
