Broken driverside doorhandle

The doorhandle on the driverside does not unlock the door anymore.
Does anybody have a description of this type of repair?
The key works fine and unlocks but the handle is very loose and does not open the door. I can reach from the reardoor and open the driverdoor from the inside but nothing works from the outside.
