High idle redux 200 1984

My idle persists around 1,500 rpm.

It was normal before I cleaned the throttle body, replaced the gasket, changed the spark plugs and cables. The throttle body wasn't terribly dirty so I don't think that accounts for the change. In any event, flddling with the idle knob on the TB seems like treating the symptom. (Plus, dialing it all the way the down isn't enough to get it to 750.) The throttle position sensor clicks as normal.

I'm hunting vacuum leaks, but there are no obvious ones. Arrggh.

Anyone have any likely culprits or tests to perform?

Thanks,

Steve M
