How to remove driver door central locking switch 700 1992

Hello all,

I am trying to figure out why my door locks don't work. After working fine until this past weekend, neither the key nor the drivers side knob control any of the other locks. Now I can't even lock the tailgate with a key. Does that fact say anything about my problem?

I have checked the fuse, and looked at the relay and cleaned up the contacts, but nothing seems wrong. I want to pull the door lock switch behind the driver's key hole, but can't figure out how to get to it. I have removed the trim panel and can see the switch looking through the opening for the window, but don't know how it is attached to the inside of the door. Any ideas on how to get the switch out or other things I should check before going too much further would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks in advance.
