My tappy new head 140-160

Last week I replaced the head on my 164.

The pinging seems to have stopped though I haven't really
mucked with the timing a whole lot. The intake / exhaust
manifold gasket was pretty mangled.

Anyhow, I set the valves to 21/22 and they sure are
loud. The head was rebuilt prior to installation so I'm
not sure if I'm going to need to reset the valves again
in the future. Should I check it in a month or so?

I think I may be setting the valves in a somewhat
stupid way -- I turn the crank until one valve is fully
depressed then I adjust the one next to it. This takes
a while... I know there are better methods for the
B20 but are there any for the B30?
