ECT removal alternative? 700 1985

I threw that post up there, since i managed to do it i figured id let everyone know lol, anyways i was able to get a box end wrench over the connection on my 89, now i dont know if the connection head is the same on your 85, i tend to use large strong wrench's too, if you can find a decent box end one it will or should fit over the connection once youve removed the wire harness from the sensor, its a pain in the but and the turn's are about 1/4 th each but you only need a couple then you can reach your hand in there and turn it with your middle and index finger, you if lucky will be able to get your thumb up in there but bveing my hands are very long i was unable to, youll want to remove the knock sensor and the connection to the temp sendor on the front also youll have to remove the bottom connection on the intake manifold, these are all electrical connections and just makes the job easier with all those wires out of the way.
