HELP.....i'm in trouble!!!!! S90-V90 1998

I would agree with the previous post. Given your description of the sequence of events, I would initially suspect that everything was triggered by the low AT fluid levels. Check Engine definetely CAN be triggered by transmission problems. (I know this from personal experience when failing PNP switch set Check Engine light and 313 code.) However, to be safe I would suggest you read the code and confirm that it was set by the low AT fluid. My second guess is the PNP switch. We had a number of failures reported in this forum this winter.
