Stereo bits 700

Hey I have a 1986 744 Gle. I have a really crappy Sony cd player, and 6 stock speakers. Im tired of my lack of music. (the sony "skips" even on the radio) So ive decided to take the Alpine CD player out of our 78 240. Is it going to be hard to hook up the Alpine to the 744? Now the speakers, I want to take out my JVC 4' speakers form the 78 and my Bazooka 4' speakers from the wagon. Will either of these sets fit in the front door speakers? My rear door speakers look fine but when i took them out i couldnt find any wiring in either of the doors that has ever hooked up to them, how hard will it be to wire them into the headunit? On to the bass now, I cant decide if i want to put a single sub in the trunk with an amp hooked up to it or two 6by9s in the rear deck. Which should i go with? Should i hook an amp up to the 6by9s? How much cutting will i have to do to get 6by9s to fit in the rear deck? Any Idea's would be helpful
