My ABS is hooped, help please! 1988 740 700

Took my car to a mechanic to get the ABS checked out. All the sensors are ok, computer is okay, but one two wire plug was disconnected by someone. So plug it back in, now the ABS motor (black box with the copper pipes under the hood) is constantly running! So pulled the fuse. ok, ABS doesn't work thats ok, but it also disconnects the odometer and speedo! So I have to put the fuse back in now to get proper mileage/speed. But this means the ABS will constantly be going off again, can't I just pull one of the two relay that hide underneath the cover of the ABS? Which one to pull? There is a black one, and a silver one. Will it affect anything?
