This thing instead of the bosch ignition amplifier? 140-160 1968

Well hey, I for one am interested in a cheap alternative to the
bosch amplifier.

Bosch seems to make pretty good stuff. It has lasted years and
years in my car and seems to work okay. At the same time, I'm
thinking of replacing my alternator with a delco unit. This is
actually a pretty common swap / upgrade.

If the delco amplifier works and is cheap, I can buy two and
mount them next to each other.

I'll reserve judgements about power gains and stuff but I'd
love to try it out.
