Axle bushing problems continued 200

If I'm getting the picture, the only suggestion I have is to get a die grinder and open up that conduit coupling until it fits over the deformed bushing. Don't know if a Dremel and stone would handle the job, but that's all I would have to do it. You'll need to find another coupling after that, and a new bushing, because you won't want to risk pounding the shape back into the old.

And please, if you can, put your magnifiers on and look at the ends of those bushings for a manufacturer's name and let us know. All I am familiar with are Boge and Meyle.

And let me know if I'm not getting the picture.
