Axle bushing bracket bent 200

Another setback just when I thought I had solved a problem. I looked closely tonight at the outer axle bracket that the bushing wouldn't go into and lightly tapped the bushing. Hey it looks like it moved, it's not deformed and the edge is now lined up with the hole. So I put the tool together, start cranking and sure enough the bushing starts to go in the hole but then I notice the worst possible thing; the spacer that keeps the brackets parallel had fallen out earlier and I forgot to put it back in. So now, the outer bracket is bent inward about 1/8".

It doesn't seem to want to bend back by tapping it. Is there anything I can do or should I leave it to the professionals?
