console lighting 200

Hi

Yesterday the bulb for the heating/fan illumination failed again. In the past 5 years I had to insert 5 bulbs. This thing didnīt seem to last very long. Even when itīs new the illumination is good over the first few months only and then becomes darker step by step.

I dislike the idea to change this bulb again the next year so my question is if there is any way to improve lighting of the console.
Is there perhaps any way to illuminate the heating/fan switches and the switches above them with LEDīs from inside the console using the existing wiring for the stock illumination bulbs?

Any ideas facing this topic are welcome.

PS: I solved my problem to lower the car with keeping the nivomat running. Iīve bought the R - sport springs from Volvo and the shocks come from ZF Sachs with the self leveling nivomat on the rear axle. I plan to install all that the next week - hope itīs worth the spending :-)

Have a nice day -- lots of greetings

Ciao M.P.
