Just got done trying to reset the service light on the 88 GLE. Found the button ok and pushed it in. The service light didn't go off. I tried several more times all with the ignition off with no luck. Is there something else I should be doing or is it broke? Question will a instrument cluster from a 89 740ti work in my 88 740 GLE? The cluster in my 89 is in perfect condition and the service light is much easier to reset. Also I would like to switch the brakes and roters from the turbo to the GLE. How possible is this switch? The turbo has abs and the GLE doesn't. Will the abs rotors work on a non abs car? What all is involved with this switch?
