ACC? ECC? Can they be swapped? 700 1991

My '91 740 wagon has the climate control with 3 knobs, a recurculate and a/c off button. This is ACC right? My question is if it can be swapped to the other one (with automatic switch positions and a numeric temp. control), which I assume is ECC, relatively easily. They certainly look similar.
