More electrical gremlins- help would be great! 200

My car died last week. The battery terminals were severely gunked up and the wire to the 25amp fuel pump fuse became disconnected. I changed both battery cables last night and every thing seemed fine (i.e. started right up). The battery measured 12.2V. This morning it started fine so I let it warm up for about 5 minutes. Hopped in the car and turned on the heater fan. It died immediately. All of the interrior electricals worked, but it wouldn't turn over. Any ideas? Thanks to everyone for their responses last week!

John
