Water in footwell behind driver's set 200 1989

I have gone through the FAQ section and noticed that in the 700 and 900 models the water can be coming in through the vent in the left kick panel and traveling back to the rear of the car. It was raining in Mass. like crazy this weekend and this is the first time I noticed water behind the driver's side seat. Is the vent a problem in the 200 series also? Or should i look else where to see where the water is coming in. TIA.
