760 boost increase

I have a 240 myself and i was thinking about doing the v8 swap but that is gonna be to much money. So i've been talking to my brother and he was telling me about the things you can do wiht the boost on the 760 turbos. I plan on getting on this summer but i want to see how the bost increase works. My dad had an 87 760 sedan wiht turbo plus. This mechanic said its probably the fastest one in the state. I was wondering how to turn up the boost in it. I've been told you can do it i was just wondering how?
