hot only turbo surge at 2200rpm [fuel pump?] 200

when I first got the 245t 83 stick it would surge at under 1/2 tank
the hose was off in the tank from the intank pre-pump
so I got a longer hose and use 4 clamps plus made a copper sleve cover over the hose and slit a small peice of extra hose so the working part of the hose just couldnot move or come off again
so then the main fuel hose got a pinhole
so I replaced that and did the copper cover trick again on the 8ft long hose
I used a hi-pressure FI type hose and the only part not covered by the copper waterline is the nipples with doubled hose clamps on them so no hose is realy streast or used in unbacked form
car ran fine for about ten days but now when real hot after a hour driving starts to surge and buck at about 2200rpm in lower gears only but will rev to red line after it passes the 2600rpm or so
is in tank or main fuel pump hot failing?????
or hot failing relay??? one relay or two [one for each pump??]
or what to check next????
turbo guage drops a little when it bucks but picksup again as rev go up
car has stock turbo and no water cool or intercooler
car revs fine out of gear and run ok in 4th [el overdrive not fixed yet]
but surges or bucks bad in 1-2 gear and some in 3rd too
just like it did before hose was fixed in tank
but only when realy hot
btw miami car so no cold temps ever here
and last weekend was hi 80s temp for air
