Power antenna wiring 700 1991

I have searched the archives and could not find what I need. I am in the process of installing a power antenna from a 1991 740 into a 1987 244. There is a connector on the antenna that has 1-black wire, 1-red wire, and 1-red w/black stripe. Could somebody please identify these wires? The only wires I have in the 240 are the black turn-on wire from the radio and a green wire. Does this antenna possibly need a switch to operate it?
