740 Water Pump Leak

My 740 has developed a anti-freeze leak on the engine block side of the water pump.
It almost seems as if the leak is coming from one of the bolts that holds the pump on. Anyone had such problems? Also I am trying to identify the piece above the water pump. It is bare metal, and has a black rubber gasket between two pieces that sit horizontal. This gasket is bulging out from between these two pieces and contributes to some oil seepage down the side of the block.
