m47 in 142 140-160

Are you sure?

Reason I ask is that I've purchased 2 trannies from 1975 240s and they were both M41s. Not M46s or M47s, which were fitted to OHC 240s. Not pushrod 240s.

There is a Volvo bellhousing that allows you to use a later tranny with a pushrod engine, but it's real rare and wasn't used in '75 240s.

Best,

Cameron
