Soundproof 142- Noisy as hell at high speed. Request for advice/experience. 140-160

I just did my 145 with Dynamat,a sound deadener that the stereo guys use. It's a little pricey at$60 for 13 sq. ft. but it's extremely effective. They also have "hoodliner" which is thicker & has an aluminum outer layer. It's available at www.summitracing .com [cheapest]or IPD. It comes as aroll with an adhesive backing that's activated by heat & conforms to the body contours quite well. Just use a hair dryer. The advantage is that you don't need as thick a layer for the same performance. A really great product! Good luck!
