Could I use the Nivomat Conversion Kit on my 1990 760GLE, AND DOES MY CAR HAVE IRS, WHAT IS IRS? 700

Greetings:

Does anyone know whether my vehicle has "IRS"? I want to change over to regular heavy-duty gas shocks, and get rid of the "PIA" Nivomats (sagging/unstable). The kit is for sale on the www.fcpgroton.com website. I have brought products from these guys on several occasions, but I really would like to convert my rear suspension over. What is "IRS"? And should my car have it, are there ways for me to get around it using this kits. Please help!!!!!!!
Thanks in advance. My vehicle is a 1990 760GLE V6 169,000 MILES.
