Highest mph- and got caught 700 1986

Never got caught doing a highspeed run. Maybe I was lucky or just smart. The road that I use has no place for a cop to hide. Now if there was a bear in the air I would be dead. But so far they haven't painted any lines on the road yet.
As far as Radar detectors go, the best is a Valentine One. There is a site out there that rips the V1 apart Radartest.com. The reason is the owner of the company that builds the V1 radar detector refuses to pay off the owners of the web site. The owner of the Web site wants a consultation fee for a review of your detector. So it is the old the more you pay me the better your detector will do. The V1 is sold only through the company. http://www.valentine1.com/home.asp
They are also not cheap at $399.00. But I have owned one for four years and have never go nailed yet with it. Twenty years ago if you had an Escort radar detector and a good CB radio you were almost untouchable at speed. FYI the owner of the Valentine Co. Mike Valentine created the original Escort Radar detector. Even today only one or two detectors can match the sensitivity of the "original" Escort. The Escort's today are in no way related to the original except in name only.
