Davy: Ron's got the idea. Use a gel-type stripper, let it set for a while, and then go at it with a stiff brush. USE GLOVES! Also, for ease of clean up and to avoid a big disposal mess try one of the many water soluable strippers on the market, use plenty of newspaper to catch the drips and the scrapings and throw the whole mess in the trash can when you're done. Better living through chemistry...
