Wide wheel offset 140-160 1973

You shouldn't have any problems with that wide of a wheel except for rubbing at the front at full lock. ( I don't know from experience, but this is what I've heard) I have 240 GL rims and they are 5.5" wide by 14" and the offset is 20. Where are you planning on getting 7" wide wheels? Won't they be expensive? How tall, 15" 0r 16"? Also, make sure you use the correct tire width and size. I don't know if 225/55/15s will rub or not, but if you are looking for more grip, this is what i'd like to do. But if they rub, I'd just go for the 205/60/15s. I will eventually get my fenders rolled or flared because i will be going this size in the future... On a taller rim though. i'll be getting Turbo rims and can't decide between those two sizes above.

Let us know what happens!
Later,
