Anyone have a clue? 700 1989

yes i have the ODB readout, no codes are being thrown, heck i ended up replacing all those parts it could throw a code on well parts wise anyways as all those dang parts seemed to have died at once and amazing enough even the knock sensor took a crap, this is deff not a fuel issue i can tell when the engine is starving or getting to much, the tach does follow the BUMP! as i call it, just imagine a typical miss and go 10 times that, it sounds like exact what you had explained above , if im at idle and it happens it dies if i am actually moving it doesnt die id assume because im actually moving and the momentum of the engine would crank it right back over, sounds like those pulses your talking about, but now which item send those?
Thanks! i feel like i might actually be getting somewhere now, oh this might help after replacing the dstributer the problem went from doing ti %70 of the time to %20, and the engine in its glory runs like its brand new other then the once in a while bump bump bump or bump dead lol.
