Quick Question 700

Jeez, compared to OPINIONS, this is the epitome of tact and manners.

Did you replace your crankshaft sensor? If not, do it. (I mean, you replaced everything else... why not that?) I read your list, but it's so exhaustive I might have missed it.

Unless it is a Turbo, then forget it; you won't have one (on an 89). And therefore with a new distributor you should have effectively eliminated a hall sensor issue. "Should", I say.

Try the RPM/crank position/engine speed sensor. Almost what I'd consider a routine piece of maintenance if it is original. Don't buy any more computers yet.

Is the A/C on when this happens? Or the defrost?

How about the power stage?
