If I haven't answered your question it is besause there was not information given to make a good answer, or the post was too long for me to stay tuned in.

Also, when you make a post like started this thread, you did not state your problem. I am not going to chase through all the previous posts looking for a specific post from VolvoSteel.

The RPM sensor is a known problem with LH 2.4 (and probably Regina) cars. The early version of the RPM sensor is marked with yellow, while the upgraded ones are marked with white. They are about $25 US.
