Automatic to 5speed conversion 200 1991

My son is converting his '91 240 from an automatic to a 5 speed using the M47 and related parts from my soon to be disposed of '87. When he dropped the automatic and pulled the drive plate off the back of the engine, we noticed a slotted ring on the drive plate and a sensor at the top of the engine - assuming it is for the LH 2.4 Jetronic. The flywheel from the '87 does not have this slotted ring and the engine does not have the sensor.

Can anyone confirm that the flywheel on a '91 or newer has this slotted ring? We'll probably have to order it from a used car parts source and won't be able to inspect it first as we would if found at a local scrap yard. Just trying to make sure that we order the right thing.

Thanks.
