electRical quandary

Ok, that covers the eay stuff. Clue: items needing constant volatge.

On the rail that holds the 25amp fuse and the headlight stepping relay is another item - a distribution box. The extra red wire that's on the same clamp as the fat red wire clamped to the battery - that's the wire to the distribution box.

The box is easily opened, if one knows how it closes - and you know it's going to close quick for assembly line purposes. In fact, a lotta stuff on the car is designed for that.

The box cover is the surface facing the engine. On the top edge is a catch, which must be pushed toward the fender (I think). Then the box top slides straight up.

Inside is a bunch of connections. Best to disconnect the negative battery cable before getting in there. Check everything out for solid connections, clean, etc.It is supposed to be weather and crud proof, but, hey! 22 years?

Give that a try, and post back. 'Tis truly a puzzlement.

Good Luck,

Bob
